Understand your current targets

Follow an item from a contract's saved results to its current target, contributors and ownership evidence.

Intents brings together the current item targets produced by your workspace's contracts. A target describes an item, a trading side, an exact float window and a committed price. It is not an order, an owned asset or a completed trade.

Start here after saving and reviewing a contract. You need access to inventory targets in the selected workspace.

Find the target you intended

  1. Open Intents. Buy targets is the initial side; choose Sell targets when reviewing selling contracts.
  2. Use Search target items to find the item by name.
  3. Check the Float window as well as the item name. Two rows for the same finish can describe different float ranges.
  4. Read Buy ceiling for a buy target or List price for a sell target. Both are committed contract prices in USD, not a current marketplace quote or a guaranteed execution price.
  5. Sort by item, price or contributing-contract count as needed. More results load as you move through the collection; the loaded count is not a workspace-wide total.
  6. Open a target to inspect its contributing contracts and ownership evidence.

When the page says it is updating, the previous results remain visible. If a read fails and last recorded targets are shown, those rows do not confirm the current state.

Trace the price to a contract

The target's detail lists the contracts contributing to that exact item and float window. Saved targets and a connected workspace stream do not establish fresh pricing. Check each contributor's last evaluation time and recorded result; a stale or unknown evaluation remains dated evidence. Contract status and the saved recipe are separate from that result. Follow a contract link to inspect the generation that contributed the target.

A generation is one saved set of evaluation results. The contributor link pins that generation in the contract URL. Compare Results generation, Generation recorded and Configuration version used before explaining a result from today's settings. Choose Follow latest only when you want the newest available result instead.

Open the item in that generation to inspect its stored source and adjusted reference prices. The generation evidence guide explains how these differ from the current saved recipe and a live market quote.

If a linked generation is unavailable, the page reports that it cannot show it. Do not use a different generation as proof of what the missing one contained. A failed read, missing result and successful evaluation with no matching items are different outcomes.

Read ownership coverage

Ownership coverage explains how much inventory evidence was available when checking the target. Read both the explanation and the counts of fresh, complete and recorded accounts.

What you seeWhat it means for your decision
Complete ownership proofThe reported coverage is complete for the accounts and observations used in that check. It does not reserve an asset or confirm an execution.
Ownership checks pendingThe check has not established a complete answer yet.
Private inventories or account authentication neededSome account inventories could not supply usable evidence. Check the affected accounts.
Stale, unavailable or incomplete inventory evidenceThe target cannot establish a current, complete view of holdings. Review inventory freshness.
Account membership changedThe account group and the inventory evidence do not agree. Review the contract's selected group before relying on the result.
Ownership proof unavailable or total unknownThere is no complete answer to substitute. Do not read an unknown quantity as zero.

When a target is missing

Clear the search and check the trading side first. Then open the expected contract and inspect its state, last evaluation and latest recorded results. Targets appear after active contracts complete an evaluation; saving a draft alone does not produce them.

If the target has no current contributors, or disappears as current results load, inspect the contract evidence again. Do not create a duplicate contract simply to make a row reappear.

For what actually happened, continue to trade offers and recorded purchases and sales. Those are separate from intended targets.
