Set up workspace access
Choose the correct workspace, review invitations and give team members the access they need.
Your workspace groups the accounts, proxies, contracts and records you use together. Confirm its name before importing accounts, editing a contract or changing another person's access.
Platform admission and workspace membership are separate. A workspace invitation cannot create platform access or verify an email address.
Review an invitation
Open the invitation and sign in with the admitted account that received it. Check the signed-in email. Confirm the intended workspace and access with the inviter if you are unsure, then accept the invitation. Opening the email alone does not make membership active.
If asked to verify your email, follow the verification link in your inbox, return to the invitation and choose I have verified my email. Workspace invitations expire seven days after creation; they cannot be accepted at or after that deadline. Ask a workspace owner to cancel the old invitation and invite you again if it has expired.
If the response is unconfirmed, choose Check membership before responding again. The same check is available when acceptance was acknowledged but the current membership could not be loaded. Once membership is confirmed, choose Go to workspace.
If the workspace is missing, check for a pending invitation or ask its owner to confirm your membership. If the app says it cannot load workspaces, use the displayed recovery. A failed lookup is not proof that you have no workspace.
Check the team
If your role permits workspace settings, open Workspace and its Members tab. Each row shows the person, role, membership state and access.
- Owner identifies workspace ownership. Owner access cannot be edited as ordinary member policies.
- Member uses the policies shown for that person. A member with no policies is labelled Workspace visibility only. That covers workspace settings, the team and audit history; it does not grant access to contracts, inventories, Steam accounts, offers, chat, proxies or analytics.
- Accepted means the membership was accepted; the invitation deadline no longer applies.
- Invited means acceptance is still pending. Invitation expired identifies a passed deadline. Expiry unavailable means the deadline could not be checked, not that the invitation is valid or expired.
An unfamiliar or unavailable identity should be checked before changing access. When the list is showing recorded results after a failed read, use the recovery action to verify the current team.
Check access for the work you need to do
A workspace owner can grant the relevant policies to a member. The policies enable a group of operations; Trading, Steam and Proxies include changes and actions, not just viewing.
| Task | Member access needed |
|---|---|
| Connect Steam accounts, inspect their Steam holdings, use trade offers or chat | Steam |
| Import existing proxy endpoints and manage pools | Proxies |
| Assign a proxy pool from the Steam account directory | Steam and Proxies |
| Author contracts, manage account groups or inspect current targets | Trading |
| Read a contract's live item preview or trade reference estimates | Analytics, alongside access to the contract or offer |
| Invite members, change their policies or manage Goldmine API keys | Workspace owner; operational policies do not grant these controls |
For the full first-use journey, ask the owner to review the necessary access before you import anything. A missing control or a permission error is not an empty inventory or a failed account enrollment.
Invite a registered member
With permission to manage memberships:
- Choose Invite member.
- Enter the person's registered email address.
- Select the access they need. The available policies cover Trading, Steam, Proxies, Analytics and CSFloat.
- Review the address and policies, then choose Send invitation.
- Check the team's pending invitation and wait for the person to accept.
This control invites a registered account as a member. It cannot grant ownership or platform admission. A confirmed invitation does not confirm email delivery.
To replace an expired workspace invitation, a workspace owner uses Cancel invitation on the old row, confirms the result, then chooses Invite member again. Expired invitations still count as invited until they are cancelled; they are not accepted members.
If the outcome is unknown, choose Check team and inspect the current membership before deciding whether another invitation is needed. Do not assume an interrupted request failed.
Change or remove access
Use a member's access action to review their current policies. If someone else changed them while you were editing, compare the current values with your draft before continuing. A saved change and a failed subsequent read are separate; verify the current team rather than repeating the change blindly.
Use Cancel invitation for a pending invitation or Remove for an accepted membership, then read the confirmation. These affect access to this workspace. They are not a Steam account deletion or a cancellation of a venue trade.
For tool access, use a workspace API key with an appropriate policy and expiry. An API key is separate from a person's membership and from stored Steam credentials.
Continue setup with Steam accounts and proxy routing.
